What's inside Fearless Birth?

Each Fearless Birth session is a two-hour journey — a blend of education and embodiment, mind and body, insight and integration.

The Structure: Knowledge meets Embodiment

In the first hour, we dive deep into the inner landscape of birth:

  • Exploring the connection between fear and physiology

  • Learning tools to process and release fear

  • Cultivating mindfulness, breath awareness, and emotional resilience

  • Reconnecting with your intuition, your baby, and your power

In the second hour, we shift into embodied preparation through purposeful prenatal yoga:

  • Practicing safe and supportive birthing positions

  • Training the body to soften, open, and relax into strong sensations

  • Strengthening and relaxing the pelvic floor for an easier birth and recovery

  • Anchoring affirmations and breath into your nervous system so they’re ready when you need them most

Together, these two halves create a powerful whole — preparing your mind to trust and your body to remember. They create the foundation of The Mind Body Integration Method.

The Mind Body Integration Method

Through Fearless Birth's signature 4-step method, you’ll learn how to:

  • Become mindful of your body and use your interoception skills to notice your internal state moving into fight or flight

​​

  • Anchor into your learnt breathwork practitce to interrupt the activation of your sympathetic nervous system

​​

  • Cultivate a deep internal safety through powerful affirmations and self-compassion techniques

​​

  • Release the tension in your body to allow your muscle to soften and stretch making space for your baby to safely enter the world.

You will explore your own personal fears through mindful self-compassion, allowing both conscious and unconscious fears to surface for processing before the day of your baby's birth, leaving you calm and prepared for the day.

You will be practicing the skills of mindful body awareness, nervous system regulation, thought work through reframing and physical relaxation techniques to allow your body to stay soft and supple, reducing your experience of pain and shortening the duration of your labour.

What this is not...

This is not a birth education course — it’s a birth preparation container where you’re supported to integrate knowledge into your body and nervous system.

 

This is not a head-based practice — you won’t think your way through birth, and you won’t here either. You’ll learn to feel, breathe, and anchor into your inner wisdom.

 

This is not performative — there’s no pressure to show up a certain way. This space welcomes the real and the raw, exactly as you are.

 

You won't be pushed into the deep end — every practice is entered slowly, gently, and with full consent, based on your readiness, not external timelines.

 

No one will try to fix you, advise you, or override your experience — because you are not broken, and you are the only one who truly knows what you need.

Guided live by Jess Perryman —Author of Release the Fear of Birth, Masters-qualified counsellor, and experienced yoga teacher — each session is a carefully held space to explore, feel, and integrate.

Over five weeks, you’ll be guided through:

  • 1 hour of mind–body education, where you’ll uncover and process fear, build inner safety, and reconnect with your innate strength

  • 1 hour of embodied prenatal yoga, designed to imprint breath, affirmations, birthing positions and confidence into your body for birth

These sessions are spacious, supportive, and responsive — built to meet you exactly where you are. With evidence-based tools and deeply feminine wisdom, Jess brings together modern psychology, somatic practice, and ancient insight to prepare you not just for birth, but for becoming.
